Hi Friends,
As I watch TV this
evening and hear of all of the problems in this world.....the
political batting back and forth on whose fault it is, the he said
she said of today, the deep creases of concern on the faces of so
many strangers that I meet in the world....I am looking for peace
in prayer, I am looking for peace in the LORD's word, I am looking
for the LORD's face wherever I can find it.... Tonight
I found the LORD's face in my Beagle.... Before you
have me admitted......Barkley (our Beagle) when I look into his
face , he is content, peaceful, no worries of the world... he knows
I (when I say I, I mean Kelly) are going to provide his every
meal, bed, tick powder, bath, love , entertainment, every need in
his life , I a.k.a. Kelly, fulfill it......Does Barkley have more faith
in me than I have in GOD? Do I have the unshaken faith of a
Beagle? When others look at me do they see the peace of GOD, the
LOVE of CHRIST, the I don't have a concern in the world because I
know my chew bone is waiting for me in a better place, I'm going
to a place where there's a fire hydrant on every corner, peace
about me?...(figuratively speaking)....As I interact with others I
am going to think about Barkley.... In order for others to want
what I have , I must remember I must reflect on the outside the
faith that is on the inside.....As Bro. Dan says we are not
blessed with a bunch of mind readers.... ha ha . Reflect on the
outside what I'm feeling on the inside....A little Barkley Love to
each of us!
